Motivational speaker, author and business owner Jill B. Yesko presents nationally on organizing, business development and life. She encourages audiences to prioritize their time and space to align with their own values. Yesko is a talented presenter with more than 10 years’ experience as a keynote speaker, masterclass thought leader, workshop leader and trainer. Yesko is known for igniting others to create balance, improve time management, and establish best practices in their daily lives, whether at home or in the office. She believes that each person has within them the skills they need to reach their goals. Yesko addresses productivity and goal-setting, empowerment for entrepreneurs, downsizing hints, mental health challenges to organization, and more. With a background in social work and human resources, Yesko provides encouragement and proven strategies that will empower any audience to be courageous, tenacious, and self-disciplined enough to truly simplify and improve their productivity, time, and home or office environment.
Since founding her company Discover Organizing Inc. in 2003, Yesko and her team have served more than 4,000 clients – to downsize and transition, organize homes and photo collections, declutter offices or basements, and more. With early careers in in social work and human resources, Yesko formed her company on the principles of compassion and education - helping those in need learn how to create lasting systems of organization.
Yesko has changed the lives of executives, employees, stay-at-home parents, small and large business owners, and seniors preparing to downsize. In every presentation, whether a one-hour talk on Zoom or a week-long workshop, participants will walk away with concrete steps and goals. She specializes in working with those with chronic disorganization and who are living with hoarding disorder.
Yesko is a certified virtual speaker with the National Speakers Association. She speaks nationally, in person and virtually, offering keynotes, workshops and business development training programs for corporate, national and regional events. She has previously spoken for BNY Mellon, the University of Pittsburgh, the Penn State University Corporate Training Program, the American Healthcare Group Conference, the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals National Conference, the national conference of the National Association of Specialty and Senior Move Managers, the Entrepreneurial Women’s Expo, Presbyterian Senior Care, the ShelfGenie National Conference, Marc USA, Heffren-Tillotson Wealth Management, and the Western Pennsylvania Human Resources Association. Yesko’s “Engaging the Aging” workshop is a Pennsylvania state-approved CEU for nurses, caregivers and nursing home administrators. Her presentations are available both live and virtual.
A successful entrepreneur, in 2021, Yesko received the Influential Leadership Award from the Pittsburgh Professional Women Association. Since starting Discover Organizing in 2003, she has added three supplementary companies: a specialized niche greeting card line (Clearly Noted Cards), move management services for families and seniors, and an on-demand bin storage company, which is now franchised.
She and her work have been featured in media across the country that include A & E’s “Hoarders,” HGTV’s “Restored by the Fords,” ShopSmart magazine, The Pittsburgh Tribune, The Kitchn.com, The Tampa Bay Times, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, The Detroit News, The Seattle Times, and more.
Yesko is also the author of three books: A Business Roadmap for Professional Photo Organizers (Palmetto Publishing, March 2022), Chronological Order: The Fine Print for a Large Life (January 2022) and I’m Right Here: 10 Ways to Get Help for Hoarding and Chronic Disorganization (PYP Academy Press, June 2021).
She has served on the board of directors for the National Association of Productivity and Organizing, the National Association of Senior Move Managers, and the Pittsburgh chapter of NAPO. She is also a member of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, National Aging in Place Council, the National Speakers Association, and the Association of Personal Photo Organizers. Yesko is a Certified Professional Organizer and a Certified Personal Photo Organizer.
Yesko is a graduate of Villanova University and has two adult children. She lives in Pittsburgh with her fiancé and their two dogs and loves to surf, swim, and snowboard whenever she can. Travels from Pittsburgh.
